Solaris has delivered seven electric buses to the transport company Erlanger Stadtwerke Stadtverkehr GmbH, of the city of Erlangen. This is the first order from Germany for the shorter model from the Polish manufacturer (part of the CAF Group).

Thanks to its features, the Solaris-branded e-bus can also be used on suburban routes: each vehicle can accommodate 50 passengers, with 21 seats.

In terms of safety, the Urbino 9 LEs are equipped with MirrorEye systems, which replaces traditional mirrors with cameras, improving driver visibility and minimizing the risk of accidents.
There is also an on-board monitoring system to enhance passenger and driver safety.
