Volvo Buses has secured the first order for 15 Volvo 7900 Electric buses with MCV – Manufacturing Commercial Vehicles as coachbuilder, following the agreement made between the two companies in recent months and which we told you about.

The order for the fifteen e-buses is placed by Luxembourg-based operator Demy Schandeler. The 15 e-buses set to be delivered in spring 2025 will be an updated version of the current Volvo 7900 Electric. The buses are 12 meters long and they will feature a 470kWh battery configuration, providing a flexible and efficient operation.
