The debut had come in the spring of 2022 at Bus2Bus, when Otokar introduced the mini-electric e-Centro C to the bus world: 6.6 meters, powered by battery motor (110 kW lithium-ion NMC modules) with a maximum power output of 200 kW and a maximum torque of 1200 Nm, for a range of up to 200 kilometers.

Well, the Turkish manufacturer recently received a hefty order for 29 models for local public transport in central Italy: it will start running on the roads in Rome in early 2024 and will then be delivered to bus lines in Syracuse, Salerno, Reggio Calabria, Cagliari and Palermo in the second half of 2024.
