On-demand vehicle routing and management platform The Routing Company has named Lindy Norris as Vice President of Marketing and Policy. Matt Horton has joined the Board of Directors.

The announcement follows the recent addition of industry veteran Dick Alexander, who joined TRC as Vice President of Business Development in early 2022.

Founded by MIT researchers and rideshare industry veterans, TRC has the goal of delivering “routing from multiple points of demand to one vehicle while. Its leading product, the Pingo app, offers on-demand or advance trip requests and can operate in on-demand, flex, fixed, or paratransit mode”.

With a team spanning eight countries, TRC directly supports international operations and
customer growth through hubs in Amsterdam, Australia, Canada, Hungary, Poland, Switzerland,
the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Lindy Norris joins The Routing Company

Lindy Norris is a multinational marketing expert who most recently served in leadership at New Flyer,
North America’s largest transit bus manufacturer and provider of electric vehicle solutions and subsidiary of NFI Group Inc., one of the world’s largest bus and coach manufacturers. At TRC, company says, “she leverages nearly two decades of leadership in brand, communications, marketing, public relations, and government affairs. She is a current member of the American Public Transportation Association’s (APTA) Business Member Board of Governors, serves on multiple industry committees in the U.S. and Canada, and was instrumental in cofounding the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials first international chapter – Toronto and Region – which was awarded emerging chapter of the year. In past, she was named to Mass Transit’s Top 40 Under 40, Marketing Magazine’s 30 Under 30, and had work recognized
through APTA and CUTA’s best marketing/communications awards”.

Matt Horton is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Voltera and Managing Partner at Pescadero Pacific
Ventures, and most recently served as Executive Vice President of Energy and Charging Solutions at Rivian. He lends nearly two decades of venture capital experience, specializing in
clean technology investments and commercialization. Previously, he served as Chief
Commercial Officer for Proterra, one of North America’s leading battery-electric transit bus
manufacturers, evolving its offerings toward current state leadership in energy storage and EV
manufacturing.
